Don't get mad at them. Let's ask why no one else is competing. Either NVIDIA has illegally killed off competition (which, I doubt and we'd have heard by now) or no one else was willing to go that hard and now to the victor go the spoils.
That's the benefit of "first to marketplace".
Not an Nvidia fanboy, it's just how this market and most markets work.
As for that Fury GPU, someone at Intel give that man a job working on whatever is coming after Battlemage ๐ that's some incredible ambition, drive and determination. You can go real far on that! |

8:26 hey phil, all i want is the xbox for pc app to actually work properly. all i want is for it to support all of the features of the games you put out. Like FH5 if want to join a club, if i hit the search button in game, it loads the app that has no way of searching for clubs. So i have to go to the xbox website which then also doesn't work. Phil, all i want, as a pc player, is to be treated as an equal and have feature parity and actually hae those features work (oh and halo 5 for pc would be awesome too).

Now that Linux can run (most) Windows games perfectly fine, most gamers with a decent amount of computer experience have little reason to not use Linux. Most of my games even run better on Linux than they did on Windows. |

I have a b350 and I can't even get 5k series. I think for all the availability there is, considering that 7k wasn't AM4, unless they release a 6k series for desktop that fills that gap there as the last series of AM4, making it have more sense to say upgrade to a b450 or 550 motherboard to get that as a sort of upgrade, especially if you don't want to spend too much money or don't want to spend all the money needed to move to AM5 (i'm done with clarifications now), then they should've stopped. |

AM4 is what "the long game" looks like. Epyc Milan is still shipping in volume to data center customers, so reject chiplets keep seeping down to desktop. As long as AMD can turn a small profit, or just recoup some cost, those chiplets will be offered for sale. I suspect the death of AM4 will be that none of the memory manufacturers will bother making DDR4. |

The real problem is everything else that games of that era need in addition to just Glide support. Compatibility issues don't just go away once you deal with the graphics, and without access to the source for an individual application it becomes a lot more difficult to ensure that things are behaving properly. |
